Who We Are

PT. Parts Sentra Indomandiri (PSI Drilling) was founded in Balikpapan, Indonesia on 4th July 2004, and currently has over 300 employees (including expatriate technical advisors) located in the field, Balikpapan workshop and corporate office.

PT. Parts Sentra Indomandiri, while supporting blast hole contractors in Kalimantan Indonesia, established itself as a labour hire company for maintenance personnel and also as a distributor of various drilling solution products.

In 2006 PSI Drilling became a drilling contractor, started with one Hydco RC drill rig working between Archipelago Resources Toka Tindung mine and Avocet on the Lanut mine and surrounding exploration leases and has grown since then to a fleet of 52 Drill Rigs, 40 Rod Carriers, 18 Compressor/Boosters, 10 x 4WD tractors, a number of telehandlers, and supported by 45 light vehicles, buses and trucks. We have a central workshop facility in Balikpapan, and site workshops.

PSI Drilling has grown to become one of South East Asia’s larger drilling companies. Backed by a strong balance sheet and technical expertise, PSI is more than capable of undertaking most contracts that are presented to us. We have the resources, financial stability and knowledge to undertake drilling programs at a level that consistently delivers above the expectations of our clients.

  • We establish fully equipped workshops on each site with the capabilities to provide independent operational support.
  • Each site is stocked with a substantial quantity of spares and consumables.

  • Each site has a suitably qualified HSE officer.
  • A HSE management plan will be provided which covers all relevant safety and environmental issues specific to each site.
  • Procedures, reporting and processes are in place at commencement.
